Dr. Ernest Yoder is the founding dean of Central Michigan University’s College of Medicine. Ernie previously served as Fellow of the American College of Physicians and Vice Chairman of Medical Education and Research for St. John Health and Ascension Health in Michigan. With doctoral degrees in education and medicine from Wayne State University, he has held faculty positions at WSU School of Medicine and Oakland University, where he taught quality improvement in health care. His clinical and academic efforts focus on improving primary care medical practice, medical education, educational program evaluation, evidence-based medicine and continuous quality improvement.
