Mark Teachout

Mark S. Teachout, PhD, MS, is an HR, OD and training consultant, with 30 years of combined experience in change & culture, strategic planning, training, leadership development, program evaluation and research & development for Fortune 200, private sector and public sector organizations. Dr. Teachout currently serves as Associate Professor in the H-E-B School of Business and Administration-University of the Incarnate Word in Texas and as an Associate Editor for the International Journal of Behavioural and Healthcare Research (IJBHR). He teaches graduate courses in HR Management for Healthcare Administration, Leading Change, Organizational Development and Organizational Behavior. Earlier, he was the Assistant Vice President of Learning and Performance Solutions, at USAA, and a Senior Scientist at the USAF Research Lab where he received the Scientific Achievement Award for outstanding research. He has served on the International Board of Standards for Training, Performance and Instruction (ibstpi). He earned his Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Old Dominion University.
