Shona Elliot

Shona Elliott is a senior leader with vast experience in organizational transformation, change management and strategic planning. Shona was recruited as the inaugural Chief Executive Officer for Transform Shared Services Organization, an organization that was the merger of two corporations designed to provide supply chain and information technology services to a group of hospitals in southwestern Ontario. Shona successfully navigated that organization through the merger process ensuring strong operational, governance and customer service foundations were in place. Shona also led the organization through its first strategic planning process focusing on creating shareholder value, emphasizing customer-service orientation and lowering costs of operations.

Throughout her career, Shona has leveraged extensive cross-functional expertise to help healthcare organizations meet corporate goals and objectives in a person, patient and family centered care environment. Shona has vast experience leading the people side of organizations having served as a Vice President of Operations and Chief Human Resources Officer for a number of hospitals. She is noted as a motivational coach and mentor, who empowers leaders and staff with the tools, professional development and authority to be high-impact contributors in dynamic, fastpaced always changing environment.

Shona has worked in both Canada and the United States and has extensive experience with Lean / Six Sigma tools, ISO registration processes, continuous quality improvement training and root cause analysis expertise. She has a Master’s of Business Administration from Ellis College/New York School of Technology, an Advanced Human Resources Management Certificate, Rotman School of Business University of Toronto and was accepted as a Doctoral Student at the Fielding Graduate School, Santa Barbara California.
